Une Nuit à Paris - instagram: nora_lexploratrice
I am certainly not alone in my love for Paris, but it wasn’t until now when I realized how it feels to be truely in love with a place. Sitting in front of my laptop back in Canada just looking at photographs of this city made me question, “what if it isn’t as good as people say it is?” Needless to say, all my doubts have been cleared. I’ve decided to start a mini series called “une nuit à Paris”, where I will post some pictures I’ve taken during my nights in Paris with hopes to, in some way, explain how and why I fell in love with this place. However, it is necessary for me to add, that in my opinion, these photographs will never do Paris justice. In the end, the excitement one feels in a place has a lot to do with their experiences and interactions. Your hometown in the outskirts of Saskatoon can be just as magical as Paris if you are surrounded by the right people. The biggest part of my love for the City of Lights is the fact that I’ve been lucky to have met wonderful people who in their small ways help make it the trip of a lifetime. So instead of saying bye, I say Au revoir - Goodbye, till meet again!
